Our mission team is traveling to Rwanda to visit Africa New Life and be a part of what the Lord is doing. The team is seeing how God has moved in Rwanda over the past 25 years, and how Africa New Life Ministries is transforming the lives of over 11,000 children and families today. They're engaging with the ministry, meeting sponsored students, and visiting the communities of Bugesera and Gashora that our church has partnered with to bring transformation. They are also learning about the history, the ongoing reconciliation, and the beautiful culture of Rwanda.

Join us as we partner with Living Water International to bring the love of Christ through clean water, hygiene education, and the hope of the gospel. This week-long trip to Guatemala is an opportunity to serve alongside local churches, build meaningful relationships, and witness how God is transforming communities through both physical and spiritual renewal.

River West Community groups are sermon-based home groups that meet regularly to grow in Christian faith and practice, by doing life together. Since Community Groups are such a vital piece of our vision to “build a community of Christ for the world”, we are always looking for more leaders to facilitate groups!

The Hospitality Team is devoted to making everyone who steps in our church feel welcomed and at home! There are many ways you can serve on the Hospitality team, including the following: Greeting, Coffee, Serving Communion, and Usher.

Adult leaders who want to love and serve teens. This happens as they build relationships with students while sitting at Starbucks, rafting the Deschutes, snowboarding at Mt. Hood, hanging out on a houseboat, or leading a Bible study!

The team responsible for the words and images that appear on the screens in person and livestream.

This team supports members of our church family in tangible, practical ways. Here’s how you can serve with, or be served by our Care Team: Preparing/Delivering Meals, Preparing/Delivering Flowers, Preparing/Delivering Notecards, Work Crew, and fall leaf clean up team (Leaf Angels).

A group of women dedicated to serving other women at River West. This team is divided into smaller teams, including: Care Team, Childcare Team, Decor Team, Food + Coffee Team, Hospitality Team, AV/Sound Team, and Prayer Team.

Help us create a warm welcome from the moment people arrive! Our Parking Team serves by guiding, and caring for guests as they arrive at River West each Sunday morning.

This team is trained to respond quickly and compassionately to emergencies and children’s safety issues.
