Giving is a central value and a transformative practice in the Christian life. As followers of Jesus, we give not out of obligation or to earn God’s favor, but as grateful recipients of His overwhelming generosity and grace. Just as Christ gave everything to save and redeem us, we offer every aspect of our lives as an expression of worship and thankfulness. Through generous discipleship, the beauty of the Gospel shines in our church, city, and world, bringing glory to God!
At River West, there are many ways to practice generosity. Whether you give a one-time gift, donate stocks or mutual funds, plan an IRA or estate gift, or set up a recurring donation, our leaders are dedicated to using every dollar faithfully to impact lives for Christ. We are deeply committed to stewarding every contribution in a way that advances Christ's kingdom and the Gospel.
Set up bill-pay with your bank to send a check directly to the Church.
Mail a check directly to the Church at 2000 Country Club Road, Lake Oswego, OR 97034.
During the month of December, many people give year-end contributions of cash or stocks. Please note that in order for your donation to be tax deductible for the current tax year, it must be received at the church office or postmarked by December 31. If you are interested in donating stocks, please contact Julie Messenger.
Online donations can also be made up to December 31 using the Make a Gift button above.
How do I switch my recurring giving to the new Pushpay giving platform?
To switch your recurring giving over, go to our new giving platform by clicking Make a Gift and setting up your new recurring giving.
Once complete, make sure to Cancel Your Old Giving.
How do I change payment methods on the new Pushpay giving platform?
To change your payment method, go to the Make a Gift page and click “Your Account” in the top-right corner, then “Manage my Account.” Log in with your phone number.
Once you’re logged in to Pushpay, navigate to your recurring gift and select “Edit.” From there, select “Edit” next to “Payment Method” then “Add a new payment method”. Enter your payment information, click “Save,” and you’re all set!
Will I get a tax receipt? When?
Yes, we send out giving statements each year by January 31. If you have a CCB login, you can generate your own giving statement anytime during the year.
