Understanding Baptism Class
Group: Classes
Campus: River West Church
Sunday, Aug 9 | 12:45-2:45pm | Rm 105 + Rm 112 + SM Rm
Baptism is a necessary yet very meaningful step for every follower of Jesus. It is a public declaration of faith, a sign of new life in Christ, and a joyful moment of obedience to Jesus.
If you are interested in being baptized at our Summer Baptism Celebration, we highly encourage you to attend Understanding Baptism. Over the course of two hours, we’ll walk through the what and why of baptism. We’ll talk about the biblical foundation, theology, necessity, and importance of baptism, as well as why Christians are to be baptized.
This class is designed to help you feel prepared, informed, and encouraged as you take this next step of faith. Since the class is only offered once this summer, we’ll use the full two hours to teach, discuss, and make space for questions.
RSVP HERE: Lunch + childcare are available when you RSVP.
There are separate classes for adults, students, and kids.
