Friday - Monday, July 31 - Aug 10 | Kigali, Africa

Travel with us at River West to visit Africa New Life in Rwanda and be a part of what the Lord is doing. You’ll get to see how God has moved in Rwanda over the past 25 years, and how Africa New Life Ministries is transforming the lives of over 11,000 children and families today. You’ll engage with the ministry, have the opportunity to meet your sponsored student, and visit the communities of Bugesera and Gashora that our church has partnered with to bring transformation. Finally, you will learn about the history, the ongoing reconciliation, and the beautiful culture of Rwanda. Oh, and by the way, we are planning on going on a wildlife safari too!

Dates: JULY 31—AUGUST 10, 2026

           Friday, July 31            Depart USA for Kigali, Rwanda

           Saturday, Aug 1           Arrive in Rwanda

           August 2-8                   On-ground ministry engagement

           Sunday, Aug 9             Depart Rwanda for USA

           Monday, Aug 10          Arrive home

Cost:  $2650 (covers all costs including safari, except personal expenses)

           plus airfare (estimate: $2000)

• Once the team is selected, we’ll send you the River West Church mission application form.

Things to Know

Team size will not exceed 20 people.

Team meetings (4) are a mandatory commitment for team preparation.

Airfare will be booked by Africa New Life Ministries.

Accommodations are safe and comfortable. We’ll be staying as ANLM’s guest house.

Passports must not expire within 6 months of our trip, ie., Jan 31, 2027.

Immunizations aren’t required, but it is wise to be up to date on Tdap. We’ll discuss options.

Climate in August: Moderate days (ave 78°F), cool nights (ave 54°F)

Language: Kinyarwanda and English are commonly spoken
