We are bringing a team to a wonderful Christian, English speaking orphanage in rural Northern India. This is a RARE opportunity for you to meet, connect to, love, and serve 40 young people and a couple of dozen leaders in an enclave of faith in a very Hindu world.
All who have gone in the past fall in love with everyone and grow in their appreciation for the amazing global family of God. For the cost of airfare and a generous donation to the orphanage, you will come away with a life-changing experience and lifelong friends. Christ will be glorified and the kids' lives will be enriched.

MISSION TRIP OVERVIEW & KEY DETAILS
Dates: Feb 14–28, 2026

Cost: $600 (covers all costs except personal expenses) plus airfare (airfare range: $1200-$1500)

Ministry Opportunities
· Share the love of Christ and build meaningful connections.
· Encourage and spend time with children and leaders
· Support and participate in daily routines (meals, chores, homework, playtime)
· Participate in worship and devotional times
· Go on excursions with the kids
Travel Details
· Departure: Saturday a.m., 2/14, PDX → Delhi
· Return: Friday, 2/27, Delhi → PDX, arrive home 2/28.
· In-Country Travel: Bus/van between Delhi Int’ Airport and GSAM
(approx. 6–7 hours).
· Passport & Visa: Passport valid 6+ months beyond return; Indian visa required.
· Health & Safety: Consult travel clinic for recommended vaccines; purified water
only; modest dress expected.

· When team is selected, receive RWC mission application online
· Application deadline: ASAP and closes Oct 31
Things to Know
· Team size will not exceed 10 people.
· Team meetings (4) are a mandatory commitment for team preparation.
· Airfare will be booked by River West Church. Tickets will be purchased after payments are received.
· Accommodations are safe and comfortable. We’ll be staying as GSAM’s campus guest house.
· Passports must not expire within 6 months of our trip, ie., Sept 1, 2026.
· Visas are required as well. You will receive instructions upon acceptance to team.
· Immunizations aren’t required, but it is wise to be up to date on Tdap. We’ll discuss options.
· Food and purified water on campus is healthy, very tasty and safe.
· Climate in February: Mild days (65–75°F), cool nights (45–55°F)
· Language: English is the first language at GSAM, also referred to as “The Farm.”
