Forum: Jesus and the Refugee

No items found.

Group: All ChurchCampus: River West Church

Sunday, Oct 05 | 6:30-8pm | Sanctuary

Today more than 122 million people around the world have been forcibly displaced from their homes—the highest number in recorded history.

Join us for Jesus & Refugees, a forum exploring one of the most urgent, polarizing, and complex geopolitical issues of our time—through the lens of Jesus' life and teachings. What does it mean that Jesus began His life on the run as a refugee? How did Jesus teach His followers to respond to outsiders, strangers, and those in need? And what would it look like to let Christ's commands and values reshape the way we see and respond to refugees today?

The evening will feature:

  • Thoughtful teaching
  • A personal testimony from someone who has experienced displacement firsthand
  • A panel of leaders working directly with refugee communities—both locally and globally

You’ll also have the opportunity to text in questions throughout the event and discover meaningful ways to engage and make a difference right here in our city.

SIGN UP HERE for childcare-space is limited. Open July 11-September 28
