Refugee Family Christmas

This Christmas season, we’re partnering with PDX Friends of Refugees to bless refugee families in our city who may be facing financial challenges during the holiday season.

We’re inviting individuals, families, and community groups to adopt a refugee family by purchasing Christmas gifts for them. On Sunday, November 22, you’ll have an opportunity to choose a family to sponsor and receive helpful instructions and gift suggestions for each family member.

Once you’ve selected a family, you can purchase and wrap the gifts and bring them to the church. All gifts must be dropped off by Tuesday, December 15.

Gift Drop-Off:

• Monday–Thursday: 9am-3pm during church office hours
• Sundays: During any of our three Sunday services
• Deadline: Tuesday, December 15

The gifts will then be delivered to the families in time for Christmas.

We hope you will join us in this mission to serve Afghan refugee families in our community and share the joy, generosity, and hope that the message of Christmas brings. Together, we can help ease some of the financial burden of the season and remind these families that they are seen, valued, and loved.
