At River West, we are partnering with God to build a community of Christ for the world, and essential to that vision is "community"! When it comes to community in the Christian life, we may have the tendency to idealize it or ignore it. However, we learn in Scripture how vital community is, but also how difficult it is to follow Jesus alongside others. So, how do we best practice the art of community today in our modern context? That’s what Introducing Community Class is all about!

This class is specifically tailored for those either curious about or actively looking to join a River West Community Group (but all are welcome to join!). So, if you want to join a group, then taking this class is the first step! In this class, we will lay a biblical foundation for community and then go over the model and culture of the Community Group Ministry. Then, we will end with practical ways on how to join a group and next steps.
