Join us at 9 AM on Saturday, October 22, 2022, for our first Women’s Quarterly Breakfast. This is a great opportunity to meet other women at River West and introduce your friends and neighbors to our wonderful community.  Once a quarter we will enjoy a hot breakfast together as we listen to a special speaker share her insights on topics that are relevant to our life and faith. We’ll then have some around our tables time to discuss thought-provoking questions and get to know each other in a deeper way.

Our first speaker is Laurie Sheffield. Laurie’s been married to her best friend for 3/4 of her life! Together they have 3 children that are also married to their life partners and 4 grandbabies!! After leading in Women’s Ministry for over 20 years, God called Mike and Laurie to lead a ministry focused on helping couples build strong, healthy, Christ-centered marriages. They are dedicated to making The Scriptures the authority and The Gospel of Jesus the hope for individuals and families. You can hear their weekly radio broadcast, now via podcast at Agape Marriage Connection.

A talk with Laurie is like a conversation with your best friend. Whether speaking to a group of 20 or 2000, Laurie has an uncanny knack for making real connections with people simply in the same room. Laurie keeps participants laughing and engaged while she uses a mix of compelling storytelling, practical guidance, insightful anecdotes, and time-tested research all centrally focused on God’s Word, to help you engage in your relationships.

Laurie will be speaking to us about building connections in a lonely and stressed-out world.
