We are joining a service opportunity called Night Strike, which is organized by Because People Matter. Night strike is a unique opportunity to serve the homeless community under the Burnside Bridge in downtown Portland. There are various jobs available at the site, but as a group, we will be focusing on passing out hot cocoa, sandwiches, and a variety of other resources as a means of outreach.
