Daughter. Sister. Wife. Mother. Friend.

Our desire is to provide an opportunity for all women to draw near to the heart of God and enjoy lasting friendships. Our River West community of women is a safe and caring place that encourages Bible study, prayer, discipleship, and service. We aim to walk through life together, growing in our faith, and applying the truth of the Gospel to our everyday lives. Summer Study 2021

This year we are offering two studies for you to choose from:

1. “The Power of Change” by IF Gathering

$10 (From IF Gathering) | Buy Here

This six-week study with Jennie Allen, Matt Chandler, and Oneka McClellan will help you understand the work of the Holy Spirit in your life and the process of sanctification. There is no checklist to follow, but there is a daily act of surrender to a God that will continue to mold and shape you. The more you know God, the more you can live like him.

2. Identity Theft by Melissa Kruger

$9 (From Amazon) | Buy Here

Who am I? It’s a question we all ask ourselves at some point. However, there’s a larger question to consider. Who does the Bible tell me I am in Christ? In this 10-week study, we’ll seek to answer this question by: exposing our false notions of identity, understanding the biblical truth of our identity in Christ, and reflecting on what it looks like to live in our new (and true) identity.

Small Discussion Groups are being offered in multiple formats including In person groups & Zoom Groups taking place on Tuesday 9:30am and Tuesday 7pm at River West Church and various other locations.

Both studies begin June 1, 2021!

Use this link to register today to assure your spot in this wonderful opportunity to gather with new friends and be encouraged in God’s Word this summer.

The River

The River is a weekly Bible study designed to help women know God and His Word more fully in order to live a life of authentic faith. Together we enjoy worship, live teaching, small group discussion, and prayer. In the process, women are able to make lasting friendships that are centered on a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Woven Together

Woven Together is a community of small groups, consisting of moms with young children (infant through kindergarten) led by a seasoned “mentor” mom. Each group will meet twice monthly with a mission/focus of cultivating rich friendships in Christ and getting to know each other on a deeper level. Encourage, challenge, anchor, and build each other up as we journey through this season of life together!

For more information, visit the Woven page or email us here or call 503.699.2226.

Older Active Kindred Sisters

OAKS is a group of women, 60 years and older, who seek to encourage, support, and pray for one another. With love, laughter, faith, and friendship we celebrate our season of life together and find God’s grace to meet the challenges inherent to our stage of life.

Women’s Ministry Service Teams

Women’s ministry at River West would not be possible without the many women who serve behind the scenes. We have teams of women responsible for various elements of ministry, including hospitality, decor, food, childcare, care, and prayer.
