Women's Retreat

Every day until Feb 16, 2020 and is an *ALL DAY* event

River West Women's Retreat is coming back! After a 4-year hiatus, women will be gathering once again at their favorite beach to worship, fellowship, and enjoy time in the Word with Kari Patterson.

When: Friday, Feb. 14, 6pm - Sunday, Feb. 16, 12pm.

Where: Cannon Beach Conference Center

Speaker: Kari Patterson (author, speaker, pastor, and Bible expositor)
"The Second Mile: The Disarming Power of Christian Love"

Get even. Fight back. Stand up for yourself. This is the response most often encouraged when we are treated unfairly or unkindly. But does it really work? Does freedom, does peace, does GOOD come through the careful calculation of wrongs? It seems as though everyone has an opinion on how to respond when wronged, but Jesus alone offers the good news that sets us free: Turn the cheek. Offer the coat. Go the second mile.

More effective than any retaliatory scheme, Christian love disarms evil forces and truly overcomes evil ... with good. Come join us as we tackle this tricky subject--unfairness, unkindness, and everything else that just feels wrong. Jesus will gently teach us His ways, through His Word, as we gather and grow together as sisters in Christ. Can't wait to see you there!

Price includes room for 2 nights + Saturday breakfast, Saturday dinner, and Sunday breakfast.

Four or More - $190

Early registrations will be assigned to Pacific View (oceanfront) housing--first come, first served. (As of Dec. 17, only rooms for 2 or more remain in this facility.)

To accommodate roommate requests, all participants should be in agreement and registrations should reflect the same information (names and room type).
